The DF6 brings 4-stroke performance and efficiency to portable outboards. Compact and lightweight, the DF6 is easy to transport and delivers surprising low- and mid-range torque for quick acceleration.

While maintaining the engine displacement of 138cm3, the conventional design has been overhauled and downsized to 24.0kg.
The overhead integral fuel tank and the new lubricating systems allow transport and storage of the outboard on any of three sides (port, starboard, or front) without leakage of fuel or oil.

The Suzuki EFI system operates Battery-Less, which is an industry first in this horse-power class. Ten years after starting the four-stroke revolution with its award winning DF60 and DF70 outboards, Suzuki re-invented the category with the new DF70 and DF90. As the first of Suzuki's new generation four-strokes, they are a showcase of advancements and achievements – such as digital sequential electronic fuel injection, a powerful 2.59:1 final drive ratio, and a zero-maintenance self-adjusting timing chain – that Suzuki has pioneered over the last ten years.
